holy shit bros I've been on an emotional roller coaster for the last 24 hours. I've been hunting for the seekers for weeks now, drove around for hours yesterday to all the targets I could reasonably get to and finally, at about 9:45 at my last stop of the day, I fuckin found them. it's the most excited I've ever been to find a TF in the wild, not because they're the coolest bots or anything, but because I put in so much effort and I felt like I beat the dirty scalpers. upon returning home my elation changed to horror when I discovered that Skywarp was covered in the most qc errors I have ever encountered on a single bot, the most egregious of which being that the two halves of his waist were wedged open on one side. after ~3 hours of harrowing surgery which involved cutting, sawing, and sanding his leg connector as well as melting, reshaping and re-drilling the post that accepts the screw I got the two halves to marry again, but the plastic had been so warped by being wedged open that it just couldn't fit together completely anymore. it then occured to me that when I did find them there were 2 on the shelf and the store was about to close, so I stayed up all night, made the hour-long journey to the backwoods Target where I found them and managed to make an exchange right as they opened.
