Here's today's work on the hand armature. Sloppy, but a functional proof of concept for my first attempt at scratchbuilding joints.

Like, do you feel that it's a slow burn project, or just a big one?I started Mewtwo nearly a year ago (although a few months of that that were from dealing with an armature supplier with awful customer service). Everything I make is a slooooow burn. Aside from ludicrous numbers of pattern tests, sourcing materials and developing techniques takes a long time. There's also a lot of off time though. I always have several big ongoing projects. If I hit a hurdle on one project, I can set it on the back burner and work on something else until inspiration strikes.
Warumonzaemon sat halfway finished for like 3 years before I finally figured out how to make the head come out right. (the answer was thread sculpting)
