Here's a break down of the parts for it. It is modular, but not as modular as it could have been. If you buy more of them you can expand it.
If you can get it for $30 or under I'd say it's worth it, since it also comes with a Rebel Fleet Trooper.

I'm fine with the monster hands being one piece, but we could have used the arm parts being two separate pieces. That way you could use either part as a left or right. Adding more ports would have also been good.
