>>10596414>doesn't know what "and/or" means>still believes toy factories use walmart paints instead of toxic as fuck paints banned in the united statesDid you know there's a lot of modelers don't wash their models before painting them? You could argue that they don't need to because the models themselves aren't handled, but that's just BS, because it's like saying you never touched your face when outside in public when the COVID police asks you if you broke any of the emergency laws. only the most autistic of the autists never touch handle their molds.
Nevermind gaming models are undoubtedly handled more than toys from most people on /toy/ who have clusterfuck displays.
But this is besides the points, in that the paint your toys use are super toxic because they'll adhere to the plastic without any problem. See pic? They just dunk the molded pieces into a tray of water and that's it. It's not a sonic cleaner and there isn't even a brush that is required to actually clean off the lube, which is what a lot of modelers do to actually take off the lube.
So what's that tray of water for? Just to remove any excess lube that's pooled in the hollows and lines. It's just dunked in and out.
And judging by the drying tray and the bubbly water pooling on the edges, they're leaving soap on it too. Didn't even bother to rinse that shit.
Again, the paints they use are toxic as fuck and basically melts itself onto the toys. They're not walmart paints that would flake right off from all the lube and soap that's left over, which you can feel on your hands when handling the toy.
