You wanna see what happens when you give joints to a figure that wasn't designed for it? Pic related, it's an awkward mess, looks like shit in pretty much every pose, and it's not even good for playing with.
Furthermore, again, I cannot stress enough the absolute heresy that is taking an $800+ garage kit that only appears once a century and chopping it up to add joints that won't even fit. Also, that's my waifu so it's even more heretical.
