>>10766242>I really just don't understand why someone would be interested in toys that you can't pose.I love some super articulated figures but I tend to enjoy toys with fewer joints, sometimes even no joints- especially for play. Some of my favorite toys growing up were things like mighty max, which was all static minis interacting with a base playset with maybe a couple of moving parts. Or Jurassic Park rubber dinosaurs, which you could move the mouth and neck around and take out a chunk of skin but not move otherwise. I continue to love similar things to this day.
When it comes to figures I prefer well done articulation to mass articulation. One of my favorite figures in recent years is this handmade dude by desktop, pic related. He only has 10 joints, all of them ball joints, and no knees or elbows. This thing can do a LOT and with a ton of style.
I much prefer something like this to a figure with 30+ joints but half of them are useless or close to it.
