Yeah I usually get them from thrift stores or I get multiples of a plush that I really like with one being designated as the hug plush. Usually I'll designate plushies that are a bit more used than others. For example I have two similar horse plushies but this one has a bit less stuffing in it so I choose that one to hug without restraint.
