>>10023686>You need to give the whole part some light sanding to make the seam blend in.NTA but does that really make it look better? I have no experience with model kits at all but I'm currently putting together a SOL Road Runner and my problem is that anything I sand or file down leaves a matte 'stain'. It just takes off the shiny top layer of the plastic which looks almost as bad as just leaving the nubs on depending on the lighting. I considered doing the whole surface to at least make it even, but for any non-skin surfaces that are meant to be shiny or metallic I feel like that would just butcher it even more.
Since I'm inexperienced and retarded I'm sure I'm doing something obviously wrong, like not filing properly and just scratching the shit out of the plastic, but I thought I'd check with you guys to make sure it's really just me.
