>>11508201>And that the people carrying on about them finishing vintage need to "get over it" and move on and stop complaining about crossoversHow annoying. I'm a really new fan (2022, thanks to Origins getting my attention). I really, really want them to complete Vintage because 1) that's what most hardcore fans want and 2) they said they'd do it. It would be bad if they didn't fulfill that promise.
My suspicion is that they are intentionally dragging it out to keep the big Vintage fans attention on the line. I think they've dragged it on way too long. Give us Two-Bad already. Maybe they can take their time with a few odd ones, but they really should be evenly distributing it out.
For me, the ideal waves would be structured like:
2 or 3 Vintage (MotU and She-Ra and Movie)
1 or 2 Oddballs and Literal Whos (Sharella, Vultak)
1 or 2 New OC characters (Frog Monger, Sting-Or)
The one good thing for me is that they are making new characters and releasing odd balls. That said, they shouldn't be dangling a carrot in front of fans faces with Vintage much longer. That isn't right or cool for Mattel to do. But as long as they keep releasing new Origins stuff I'll be happy.
Also I may be very spoiled considering how good some of the 2024 and 2025 releases were.
