They didn't do a recall, but when they issued the corrected version a few months later I went to exchanging my defective set for the corrected version. As I explained the reason I was exchanging it the old store cast member told me "Oh, and I thought you were a REAL doll collector." As if to imply that all doll collectors go crazy over collecting defective doll sets.
