>>10601406>Maybe not necessarily 'fragile', but certainly not durable if it has to be disassembled and fixed/strengthened with superglue regularly. This is why I'm way behind on my own schedule. Creep happens over days or weeks. On the male figure everything was nice and stiff then after not touching it for 10 days I noticed everything was loose. I had no idea why that happened so I did some research.
Creep is something all toys have to deal with and there are all sort of workarounds for it. Remember how AnthonyCustoms always complains that the knee/elbow paint don't match the rest of the leg/arm? This is because they're using two types of plastics to avoid creep.
PLA is easiest to print with and offers great detail but it is not creep resistant.
PETG is more creep resistant than PLA but doesn't print just as nicely.
ABS is more creep resistant still but it's not as strong as PETG.
PEEK is the strongest plastic out there (almost as tough as metal) and has almost no creep but it's the most difficult to print with.
Choosing plastics is like an RPG.
