As well, while a favourite MS, Bandai also made it a kinda boring and bare bones release; with a bit of a high for what you get price tag. So can't blame people not ready and wanting to pounce on that. Still stings the 1/100 MG kit(yes I know it's not quite the same with the figure mostly all actual ABS construction, versus the kit's all PS materials) was about 2,000 yen cheaper...

On mine the two halves of the head were held together with spotty spread of glue under the forehead camera top/ridge piece, almost all of it was applied to the right-side; actual main halves were held with almost nothing really. If you're lucky your's might be just the same, and a 5-8 min soak in hot water from the tap; will be enough to safely pry it off with a precision flat head from a smartphone repair kit like I did.
Just will say do so at your own risk, as yours may have had more glue used on yours; and I heard Bandai made sure the GM Kais' heads were glued shut...
