But, basically, dissolved polystyrene is way too viscous for proper casting (unless you're casting 3D primitives), so if you want to recast something you use resin which has a viscosity of water (and you can get bubbles even then). Dissolved polystyrene is better suited for patching holes, trivial sculpting or similar simple puttying jobs.
