>>7259865In hindsight, were they really in that position though? The decline didn't really start til 1997-1998, and 1999 was when they really reached the dead end place where they'd have to do that. Star Wars barely saved them thanks to the Phantom Menace hype and wisely doing OT sets too in case the movie failed.
Personally I liked the hodge-podge Willy Wonka-like quality of the sets.
