The questionable comic/webseries quality becomes especially apparent when compared to the old ones made by DC.
Remember those small promo comics that came with the canister sets? Even those had some actual effort put into them and comparing them to the G2 ones is a borderline insult and after also looking at the G2 artbook it honestly makes me question the sanity of the person behind the packaging/advertisement design.
You made ALL those great looking concept artwork and digital paintings and you decide to promote your product with THESE kindergarten drawings?!
You just let all those imaginative environment drawings rot in a folder on your PC while using stills from your webseries? (and don't give me any "those images have stuff on them that didn't made it into the final product" excuses - nothing came out of the Vahi or those scorpion warrior statues and it's not like G1 had any issues with changing stuff like the Bahrag designs later on, either)
This is part of your opening gamble - you want to present your toy aimed at 7-16yos as cool looking as possible and that stuff was just embarrassing to look at.
