(Oh, and while yellowish green to greenish yellow zinc chromate paint was popular as primer back in WW2 with a modern aircraft you may be staring at the bare, unpainted composites instead.) If it's all going to be covered there's no point. Airliners are also usually white, which is easier to get right with a white or grey undercoat, and for the bare aluminium wings (etc) you ideally want a gloss black surface under your metallic paint so you'll either prime like that or cover your primer completely with a black in-between layer.
