That said I don't think this is hate so much as just general surprise, The Alley Vipers were hardly used in any media, you had the one agent in Operation Dragon Fire and they showed up only in three episodes in the DiC series. Meanwhile BATs were used in the entirety of Season 2 of the Sunbow show only not appearing in 5 of the 30 episodes and taking center stage in many episodes, with the comics both were background fodder but imagie comics made use of the BAT getting it's own arc. So again I don't think it's hate because what is there to hate about something that was hardly relevant?
