actually, $20 figures are perfect for customizing, since they're so cheap and a major fuck up means you can buy another figure easily.

Hell, if you do a bad job, it's easier just to buy the figure again than stripping off the paint from the fuck up.

it's mostly unpainted plastic, but they even have stitching detail. Pretty amazing sculpt, even in making the wrinkles look realistic. Hasbro has god tier sculptors and rubbery, floppy plastic can hold sharp detail.
