>>7139129It's possible, but expanded polystyrene is made from a much more coarse material, so when breaking it apart or carving it, it tends to brake in these little bubble formations which aren't ideal for most structures. You can always sand the edges down, but that just seems like double the work.
Insulation foam (pink foam) is made from super fine material, and it's crazy easy to carve and sand.
>>7139137Pretty much. I usually doa base coat of black, then brown over it, then maybe a black wash to bring out more details. And finally a quick dry brush of similar colors.
