>>9062105I can't ever feel comfortable getting a Transformer that's entirely translucent, especially $400 shit like that FT Jetfire. Clear plastic does get brittle over the age, and even with the joints being a normal plastic you'd still have to worry about stressed tolerances and what not.
I do love when companies use transcluent parts purely for detail though, like the bits on TFC's Piranacons. Light-piping sucks most of the time and I wish it wasn't as common of a thing.
