However as already exhausted in this thread, they made Heavy Duty and Roadblock several times together in the same year meaning something other than name rights was going on as they kept this fight to make Heavy Duty the new Roadblock right up until 2010(ish). If it was just rights, they would have reworked Heavy Duty back to his normal roll and had just gone forward with Roadblock.
Actually that's what makes this even more fucked up: Why didn't they just keep making Roadblock with a different name like they did all the other GIJoes and Transformers that lost their names? They didn't go make a new OC called Shockblast that was Shockwave's third cousin removed, he was just understood to be Shockwave and when they got the name back they just went forward with his original name than make two Shockwaves.
