>>8087525>It could be anyone, but someone without a bias and not told about the differences in prices would not think that figures like these would have a price difference that's 2-4x.Anyone who has experience handling various different action figure lines can tell the difference between a $20ish domestic figure vs. a $65 import figure. The difference in paint, plastic, and joint quality is very apparent. Paint is usually cleaner, PVC plastic isn't nearly as gummy, and the joints move smoothly without being too tight or loose.
>Actually breaking down the costs or comparing it to similar figures (like DCC's premium line to a figuarts), well, you're left with knowing the true costs and it'd be impossible to justify the 2-4x difference.Which DCC figures are the same quality as imports? The BvS figures? Like Travolta Superman?
>i say this as a collector who buys a wide variety of figures. But you have shit taste and a known bias towards certain brands like McFarlane and Mezco.
>Anyone who says differently is lying to themselves to justify the costs or a brand fanboySays the poster who denies literal photographic evidence when it is contrary to his point.
>There's literally no figure i own where i'd say there's a 2x difference in quality or featuresAre you actually comparing your ToyBiz Marvel Legends and saying there the same as high quality figures? You can't deny that Mezco figures cost more than MLs due to the cloth goods and high accessory count.
>Hell, it's figures like that Toy Biz Orc figure that impresses me the most, because it's so cheap yet the paint applications are God-tier. Still, it's not a 2x difference.Oh shit, you actually are trying to say Mezco and ToyBiz cost the same. Holy shit, are you really this dense?
