Broken down it's just a quarter turn at the waist and threading the side panels past everything to be wings. The kind of transformation where things have to be done in a specific order.
And well, he looks like an Animated toy. Very long. You can really feel how closely toy design and cartoon design people were working together right from wave one.
I notice his very hollow forearms and biceps and don't remember anyone bitching about that back then. His thighs do have panels actually screwed in to prevent hollowness.
>>9403800I can't say how bad Japanese kids might have been turned off but as a cartoon watching adult I can say I made it to episode 20 of BWII and left it there. There are literally no animated characters I loathe more than the Jointrons.
