You're literally saying that they didn't want to spend more money replicating teh sculpt, despite the fact that's the OPPOSITE of what literally happens.

Again, there's no "low quality" setting when you're machining steel to the level of detail they're going at.
Molded detail is pretty much identical from cheapass company to rich high end companies because of the nature of high pressure injection molding. Everything about the molded detail comes just from the sculptors abilities.
And i like how you have to focus on the crotch, like that totally proves your case.
Again, there's no reason for them to change the torso or the face or anything else that actually is affected by the paint.
The crotch? They changed the engineering (ball joint vs hinges), because it's cheaper (factories need new tools for other set ups and employees would need to be trained for different engineering). The cape? Thicker, probably for durability issues over a thinner more expensive silicon.
Lotta cost cutting features, yet you want to claim that Mattel spent more money just to change teh sculpt for the worse....
