Doesn't really make much of a difference, but, on my Shadow Panther they just move there smoothly without any force. On the Cheetors they just sort of stop (shown on the right legs) and forcing them all the way through takes a good bit of force, results in a loud click, and almost starts pulling the shin apart (shown on the left legs). Of course, it may just my copies that are stiff. (though looking at stock photos of them all, it's pretty inconsistent if they're there or not)
It's completely avoidable and doesn't matter at all for the actual transformation, it's just wild how much smoother it is on panther.
