>>9426630Since the thread's almost dead might as well throw my hat into the ring with my own rendition of the crab girl. The crab on top is just a regular attempt at drawing a hermit crab while the one on the bottom is my attempt at giving it a more angular and slightly robotic look which I used as the alt mode. As for the robot mode I very obviously didn't make a nerdy girl bot because my brain had the idea to make a tomboy mechanic instead so sorry to those who wanted more nerdy girl bots. Did shell shoulder pauldrons like the other anon did. Gave her big hands and forearms to look like gloves for protection from all the fiddling with machinery, salvage, and scrap she'd be doing. I did keep the top but turned it into a tank instead of a tube since all my references had them. I was originally going to use Junkion heads as references for her head but went with Rampage's head instead which mainly inspired the little crab legs that are the guards over her face and her "hair". I added the hermit crab eyes on her head for the goggles-resting-over-the-forehead look. I added the little antennae when I saw one mechanic illustration that had something like it and it was the one Junkion element I could add. Decided to turn those antennae the crab has into claws she could wield like wolverine or x-23 who also has 2 claws instead of 3. The crab legs were supposed to kinda be reminiscent of sweaters or jackets that are worn around the waist but I noticed the front legs just look like part of the thighs so do with that what you will. The back 2 legs just dangle so they kind of accomplish what I was originally going for. Also tried to do the claws are a part of the thighs thing but I feel pretty mixed about the result. Everything below the knees was rather simple, maybe I could've done more idk but I'm fine with how they are right now. Also put a container on her hip as if it were a belt pouch. I put too much thought into this. Have a good one
