Your memory is shit, because that's looong since my view since before you were born. Everyone who has read comics knows this and I've discussed this on 4chan before you were even born.
I can understand your memories are shit because you're 10 year olds and early memories are hard to recall, but one of my specific mocking points for you moviecasuals is that you guys were cherrypicking rushed panel art to claim shit was accurate, because drawing points with large splash pages, covers, etc are where artists spend the most time was more accurately protrayed (nevermind the writing).
In fact, I've also discussed how lines like Marvel Legends DON'T use specific artists or comic styles, because of how inconsistent the character looks from artist to artist, thus the ML line from Toy Biz to Hasbro have had very general, realistic sculpts. McFarlane Toys does that too, but they're inconsistent, sometimes doing cartoony and even a specific artist's style.
Pic is one of the rare exceptions from Hasbro, which should jog your memory in how many times I've talked about this. God tier sculpting, worthy of being in a DCC line.
