I never actually watched G1 series. I watched some of first episodes back then and they didnt hook me up.
What season or episode should i start to continue having G1 feels with all these characters that represented in Titans Return line?
I kind of dig this opening: it starts from 3:00.
It has really good animation and shows some dark scenes and all familiar characters. It kind of looks like this opening started right after the Movie.
