That is why, most, if not all mahou shoujo character designs always based on ballet dancers, because it is quite fancy and elegant.I mean, that’s basically what CLAMP did with their (main) magical girl show. Instead of just having one cute costume she transforms into, she has multiple costumes all with different design aesthetics and colors and shit. Because they literally thought it was depressing that a little girl couldn’t have as many magical costumes as possible.
