Every monster appeared in one episode of a series thats been around for almost 30 years. If you go on youtube you can find like one retrospective on king sphinx and zero on the rest of the monsters

Likely would buy rangers before the monsters. If you buy only 5 or so PR figures a year it will be a hard sell, rather than collecting your fav team

Everyone here pretends that your average normie remembers every episode of PR with autistic detail. I've been into sentai for 4 or so years, and watched pr until i was ten. I have no clue who pirantishead is. I only know king sphinx from a retrospective. I only know pumpkin rapper from memes, and i don't know who pudgy pig is. These are literal background star wars characters to 99% of people. (As an aside the only zyuranger villain i remember is the knight with the sword and the genie. No clue what thier names are.)
Their only hope of selling was to look good and be a good value (aka big) but they ran out of paint budget (the real issue). Other than that every casual fan who picked these up on sale loves these things. Its only hardcore autists who dislike them for scaling reasons
