>>6315591I customized everything you mentioned plus I glued the katana sheaths together. For the leather bits I used a brown wash, using some cheap acrylic from a paint kit. Any brand paint will work for the wash, just make sure to use acrylic instead of enamel (enamel won't dry properly and will remain sticky). For the silver bits, I picked up a nice bottle of Citadel acrylic paint. I used Testors enamel at first, but it never dried and I had to paint over everything.
