Post GOAT toys. Toys that have stood the test of time.
HARD MODE: if it is a nostalgic toy, describe how you played with it
Pic related - I would put Lego men and 1:18 Joes in this castle growing up. It was the central fort and command center for my toys. I would substitute the cannon with a mounted machine gun turret from the GI Joes or some absurdly large laser cannon from a Beast Wars guy. The extremely durable figures that came with it served as excellent goons for my newer toys to fuck up.
My favorite thing to do was put my favorite toys inside the castle in battle positions, and put the castle in the corner of my room so that right side and the back side were against the wall, and let the cat in the room. The cat wouldn't be able to get any of the figures inside, no matter how hard she tried b/c the castle was fully fortified (but I pretended my toys were holding the door up and somehow defending the castle). Then I would launch the cannon thing at the cat after a while and my cat would run out of the room. I would open the gate and position my toys in a celebratory fashion. My cat is still to this day kind of afraid of the castle.
A truly legendary piece.
