>>6607970After playing with it s'more, and getting it back into car mode, I've gotta say, they definitely improved it from Laster. Laster was good, but his leg transformation was way too fucking fiddly. This guy is essentially a reshell of Laster, but they tweaked the leg transformation to not take a solid 20 minutes of adjusting plastic rods to get it all together/apart. Also that one fucked up locking tab doesn't appear to be affecting his transformation any, it was the one center on his hood, and the hood is holding fine without it, probably due to it being held together by the outer bits. His clearances are definitely tighter than Laster's too, it took me some fiddling to get the backpack set up for robot and car mode. But all in all, it's a smoother transformation.
I like it. I just wish the arm panel on the left wasn't so tight (loosened a screw AND put some lube on that bitch, and it's somewhat better, but still tighter than I'd like), and that the one tab wasn't fucked up right out of the box, but given it being fucked up doesn't actually impact anything, I'm willing to let it slide. Now, I can move on to the IF figures.
