>>8642728You can't really do a perfect Falcon in my opinion. I don't really care for how large the TVC one is on top of the excessive price tag, you just can't really display or mess around with that thing easily on account of the size, and despite that it's still undersized for a Falcon. The original Falcon from the 70's is still pretty good, which is why I like the Original Trilogy Collection version since it's a retooled 70's Falcon. I also like the Force Awakens version, but neither that one or the OT Collection version is perfect. The way I see it is that a perfect Falcon has to have a lot of the play features to it and not necessarily be an overly large vehicle.
The 70's/OT Trilogy version has these features:
>Holds at least 2 figures in the cockpit so you can have Han and Chewie in it>Has a Dejarik table, although there's nowhere to sit the figures around>Has a gunner station for Luke.>Has landing gear so figures can pose around outside the Falcon.>Has a ramp so figures can enter and exit the Falcon.>A smuggling compartment.>Small enough to be played with by kids.>lights and sound effects on the OT trilogy version. The FA has:
>A cockpit that holds 2 figures, so Han and Chewie can be in it.>Has a better Dejarik table with a place to sit figures>Has a better gunner station for Luke.>Has a smuggling compartment but you can't stash figures in it-- it's for weapon and accessory storage.>Has a medbay, another improvement over the OT version-missing the landing gear
-missing the ramp
>small enough to be played with by kids.>fires nerf darts-- a meaningless feature to a collector, but a fun one, particularly for kids.>lights and sounds. The interior is just so much better on the FA one than the OT Trilogy Falcon, but it's flawed in that it's missing the landing gear and ramp, which would have made it the perfect Falcon(aside from an OT satellite dish). I kinda hoped that some customizer would make 3D printed landing gear to go with it
