With the aide of the Chaos Crystal, King Scar has overrun the Pridelands in a sea of fire, alongside his new subjects whom have planned to take over their own sections of the Anthro Kingdom. In a desperate call for help, the Wild Watch is able to enlist Knuckles and some of the Action Alliance to successfully intercept. Losing the battle, King Scar envelopes himself in firey armor as a last resort but ends up perishing himself and the area around him. The heroes are able to douse the flames, but in the thick steam, Bowser secretly transports the crystal back to his base. All the other villains make their escape as well, leaving only a Scar-shaped burn on the ground in a smoldering field. The Pridelands and the Wild Watch base are now completely destroyed, but both teams help each other relocate and rebuild until the land is restored once again.
