I usually get the same sort of luck with the Secret Santa on Smack Jeeves (now defunct, but a portion of the old, more prominent members migrated to a discord and comic fury), I'd tend to be paired off with a either low skill or/and low effort artist. I enjoy drawing something nice for others so I still sign up for it regardless. But I agree that you shouldn't waste time on SS where people aren't appreciative or thoughtful.
Anyways, I've got all my gifts and they're all wrapped up. I guess my biggest struggle will be actually getting the box to ship it in. I'll be hunting for one tomorrow so I can ship it sometime next week.
