The Bruticus arms are alright. The elbow doesn't go much further than 90 degrees, the hands are pretty self explanatory with a nice finger splay, and the shoulders are somewhat limited in the obvious Bruticus shoulder articulation way. Vortex isn't bad but Blast Off's shoulder is much worse off.
I've been finding that the pinned hinge on the forearms make for more useful elbow joints than the proper elbow joint, weirdly enough. I think they intended it as a double joint for extra range but for most of the posing I've done I've found it pretty good on its own
The Vortex forearm likes to fall off at the mushroom peg when I turn it, which is kind of annoying. Like most people have said, the mushroom peg is stressed around the base (same for Blast Off, but he doesn't fell off easily) but a lot of IF mushroom pegs are like that so I'm not really concerned with them breaking as long as it doesn't seem like it takes too much force for them to go into the slot, which they don't.
Also is there a place to put Vortex's helicopter gun in combiner mode? The instructions want you to take it off but I haven't found a place to put it.
