I think people might remember more the repaints (like how Slice got repainted as a bright orange, and Dice got repainted as bright blue and a weird pinkish orange, among some of the other repaints) and also might be remembering the later Ninja Force that were color-change figures. All of them were bright pink, purple, etc. and they could color change to transparent when you put them in warm water.
