So instead I broke open one of my chrome paint pens and put a couple drops in my airbrush. This looks significantly better and actually looks like chrome. I ordered one of those molotow refills that comes in a dropper bottle for the future, I have no idea how long the paint in my now broken pen will last before it dries out even though I taped it back together.
Other than the dust I can't for the life of my seem to escape no matter what, this looks great imo. I ruined the chrome parts in the kit trying to strip the factory chrome so I had to order another chrome tree from Round2. Between that and buying the 3D printed engine I'm using for it, this is definitely the most expensive kit I've built so far.
