>>5359030sure is teenager whose mind is boggled by the fact people used to live without cellphones
Back in my day, we used to talk to people face to face, IN PERSON.
We also had more time to ourselves, instead of word needing to call us at a moment's notice.
And you know what? We weren't obsessed about needing to tell everyone every little triviality that we do about it to a bunch of nobodies.
I don't know about your shitty state, but in my area, we have call boxes everywhere and our homes all have landlines. Emergency calls are easy to make.
I dont understand why no one would care about you if you didn't have a cellphone. IS it because you can't even speak to your family or friends in person?
Or are you really equating what a cellphone is as important as a wallet? Because that's a laugh. A lot of people don't use either.
Some of us just take our credit card and drivers license and that all we carry in our pockets.
I should note that i do have a smartphone, but I mostly use it for work. I never liked using phones before cellphones were even common place, even though i had one in the 90s. I almost always used the phone just to let someone else know we were meeting up for real life interaction.
