I bitch about the Amazing Yamaguchi figures, because they look disjointed as fuck, because the cuts are everywhere, making the figures look like they should be able to transform like a Transformers. The hips look just as bad.
People all have their limits on how busy the engineering can look and how much it can take away from the sculpt, and these hips have been derided for a while. In the SHF threads, people bitched that they don't have the range as the older hips did on some figures.
