Picked up the Zeon weapons set!
The bulk of the set is three propellant tanks that you can arrange in a variety of ways. I like the single tank set-up, and Bandai does include a little plug to cover the peg-hole on the side if you choose not to attach the communication/sensor array.
The tanks plug into an adapter which then connects to the Zaku backpack. Connections are all super secure and line-up perfectly. Unlike the Feddie weapon set, which included multiple backpack adapters to allow attaching missile pods to multiple GM variants,the Zeonic propellant tank adapter only works on the standard 0079 Zaku.
The long-barrel 120mm cannon looks rad, and the little pistol (holstered on the side) is cute.
What does the pistol fire, though? I was thinking maybe it's a grenade or flare launcher. Instructions show that the Zaku machine-gun firing effect should be used with the pistol, so does the pistol use standard rounds? There's no magazine or anything, though maybe the ammo is stored in an internal helical magazine.
