Darkseid is just standing there with his legs slightly spread and his arms raised. Batgirl is just all kinds of bad posing going on, but again, none of her joints are really doing anything extraordinary range-wise.
I'll be the first one to say that Hasbro is a fucking mess in many ways, but one thing they're finally sort of getting right is articulation.
