>>7918934Thanks mate. Yes, the Kotobukiya HMM(highend model masters) line is really sweet. Sadly it is not super active and it's hard as heck to get hold of older releases for a decent price with how seldom Koto rereleases kits.
I should point out that the american and japanese kits are identical. Hasbro simply liscenced the right to distribute stuff Takara Tomy already made to the west(although Hasbro DID make their own stuff on top of that but not a lot).
the HMM line however is a different company entirely from Takara Tomy, and Hasbro has nothing to do with them. There is no motorization whatsoever, just pure articulation and details. Kotobukiya will even redesign the Zoids to some extent to add mroe details and make them work better. for example adding a full enclosed canopy for the gunner seat on command wolf or adding hidden weapons on the lightning saix. They are FULL of details, its insanely good.
There are some new ones and repackages coming out soonish, so keep your eyes peeled on the usual japanese sites, put in preorders if possible.
