I did recently start collecting Lego Dimensions shit too, mostly for the things they can do in game, but also because I have a mild hard-on for minifigs.

The Twelve minifig and the K9 minibuild go really well with the Lego Ideas Doctor Who set, and the actual stages the pack unlocks have a decent amount of content though not enough to justify the $30 pricetag. You should definitely go for it, but I'd wait for a sale first. Like twenty bucks or so.
Also I really want that damn Cyberman fun pack. I need a ton of these little bastards.
