Neon green, yellow, neon orange, bright red, blue, or a combination of those colors - the whole point is to make the thing highly visible so people have no issue seeing it and getting out of the way while it's moving around. Imagine if the drill was colored dark brown or black; they're mining underground where the lighting is dim and there's so much noise echoing around that you wouldn't be able to hear any warning shouts over the sound of drilling, so anyone on foot who wasn't paying attention could easily walk in front of the thing and not see it until it was too late. Bright colors catch the eye even in low visibility, hence why construction vests, tools, and anything else on a dig site is typically brightly or neon colored. It might not be pretty, but it does have a basis in reality.
