I sometimes wonder if I should pick up legos as a proper hobby, but I'm still on the fence. I sometimes buy small sets, but nothing major, and always on sale. I mean, how do you even get into a serious scene anyway? I feel like when I was a kid, it was easy to collect legos, because they were simpler back then. But nowadays there seems to be tons and tons of specialty pieces (as I call them) and the whole hobby revolves around those. So in order to really get your collection started, you'd need to someone track down this big list of obscure pieces first...
