>>7054590As a kid I was addicted to claw machines so I have a bunch of random plushies from various claw machines that I won. From there I started collecting toys from cartoons and other media that I liked. As I got older and started realizing how tight money could be, I gave up trying to get full collections of stuff and just focused on buying single figures and dolls that I liked that fit my tastes. I also gave up claw machines once I became a tween but even now I think UFO Catchers look cool. Never played one but they look like less of a total rip-off than regular claw machines.
My closet is packed and my room is currently in a mess as I try to organize. I bought wall mounted shelves but I need more tall standing shelves. I also REALLY need to sell/give away stuff I don't want or use anymore.
Imo, collecting toys is harder now than before because of all this crappy blind bag shit and "limited editions", which only entices scalping and other shitty business practices. It's all getting too stressful for me. Pic related just happened the other day.
>seller puts BIN on a listing>first offer, get thisBoy I sure do love eBay. :^) Absolutely nothing you can do when the seller is a greedy psychopath. $12.99 MSRP.
Tbf, the listing was super fishy and the description said the seller "needs a signature" due to the "rarity" of the item even though it's a common. I have a feeling all of that seller's stuff is stolen anyway, they live in a shitty part of California.
