So I got the tunic sewed up, then tightened it up in some spots so it didn't look like it was floating on him. Picked up some stretchy straps to make the belt which also helps it look less baggy. It doesn't look anywhere near as detailed as the stuff Simon usually wears, but I also know there'd be no way I could get it to look great if I went overboard in detail. Anyone have ideas on how to doctor up the tunic? I can try to add a sturdy looking shoulder guard on his left side, but what else and how would I best go about making such a shoulder guard?
I also intend to add a few accessories. I need to make a small bottle of holy water somehow so any suggestions on doing that would be appreciated. Need to find a cheap plus sign shaped "cross" for the boomerang. A small axe will be the easiest to find or order online I assume. I'll add some straps to hold the holy water, boomerang, and axe eventually as well as something to place the whip in.
Do you think it's worth it to try and cover the face in a wash to make it match the skin tone better? Not sure if that'd be a good idea or not since I'm relatively new to taking a stab at customizing.
