>>8890079There is an app. called Quidd that Funko worked with (I think they still are) that is basically this kind of idea. They have 3D models and images of Funko related products, like POPs, etc. that acted like a gatcha. It used a point system that gathered from doing stuff on the app., including watchin adveristments. It also could be exchanged with real money. I was a bit worried with that direction, and it sounds like they are pushing into that market next. I don't think it'll be as successful as the physical market, but as long as both are happening at the same time I don't see the major issue. I refuse to pay for 3D models UNLESS they let you download them yourself for use in 3D printing and modification- otherwise its pretty useless. Just a symptom of a clown world we're living in I guess.
